This course examines the multidisciplinary foundations of instruction via historical, philosophical, and sociological research. The intersections and relationships of assessment, instruction, classroom management, and human growth and development are the primary focus. Informed, teacher candidates develop individual educational pedagogies and engage with various teaching approaches and strategies, to make decisions for improving instruction, classroom management, and student performance. Hours credit: 1. Prerequisite: acceptance in the Program or permission of the instructor.
